The Share IT mission is to reduce computer hardware waste while promoting competitiveness through IT and high-performance computing. This mission is accomplished through the repurposing of IT equipment and servers for use by small businesses and academic institutions both domestically and abroad. Repurposing of equipment is enabled through server virtualization and leverage of thin client architectures. Share IT is in the early stages of formation and working towards establishing non-profit status.

The traditional methods of architecting and building data centers face many challenges that include finding available land, a protracted permitting process, high demand specialty labor, and lack of available and reliable power. The market is ripe for a new, fast and cost effective method of deploying data centers and IT infrastructure. Oasys will provide an answer to market demand with build-to-order, pre-manufactured, modular and scalable self-contained data centers.
Green IT Alliance
It is widely recognized that IT infrastructure is a critical part of the fabric of enterprise, across all industries, and is a primary driver for economic growth worldwide. At the same time, growing concerns over the rising cost of energy and the global climate change situation demand the introduction of new energy efficient technologies.
MindShare is working closely with local economic development organizations such as the Port of Whitman County, Greater Spokane Incorporated and Washington State Commerce Trade and Economic Development to establish the NW Green IT Alliance as a center of excellence for promoting energy efficient and sustainable IT infrastructures.
